Since VOWs was established in 2016, the Virtual Minister has had the honor of renewing vows for couples who had been together for just a few years, and even more who were celebrating 10-25 years.

So how often should a couple renew their vows?
Really it's a personal thing and there are no set rules: some couples do it every five or ten years, some every year or two. Others never do it (and then later likely wonder why their relationship "isn't what it used to be."). But from over 20 years of experience, the Virtual Minister can say without hesitation that the couples who renew their vows regularly usually seem to have even more special chemistry and spark in their relationship. That's because marriage is like anything else in life: what you put into it, is what you'll get out of it! |
